Sanctuary was a popular Amiga Elite BBS back in 1991-1996 located in
Gothenburg/Sweden.
The BBS was a Fairlight Swedish Headquarter, Epsilon
Dezign WHQ,
iFFTic WHQ. 2018 I joined Up Rough.
I was mostly involved in the scene as sysop of
Sanctuary, but also
did some ascii collections and Amiga Guide designs
for
“Swedish BBS Elite List” and "GBG Toppen”.
Late 2017 I got some serious
nostalgia feeling and decided to put
Sanctuary back online again. The problem
was that the backup was
stolen from my storage 15 years ago, so I had to start
from scratch.
But here it is back online, but this time in an emulator
since
I have no Amiga hardware anymore.
The BBS runs on AmiExpress v4.20 in
AmiKit-X, AmigaOS 4.1 and
winuae, it seems to be pretty stable.
If you
connect with a PC I recommend to use Zoc7 instead of the web
based version
because upload/download doesn't work with the web
version. Also the fonts looks
wrong.
But anyway you can use it and have some real flashbacks from the
good
old times.

You should be able to find a
cracked version or serial number somewhere ;)
You should also install
this font pack:
http://www.brysk.se/sanctuary/t!s-af10.zip then you can configure
Zoc7 to
use Amiga fonts for best nostalgic feeling.
